So I just have to do a little Blurb on Boston Legal. Oh my heck! I love this show so much! It is the only show that I don't fast forward through the opening credits because I love the theme song so much! (that is what is playing on my play list! )The writers of this show are absolutely brilliant! If you haven't watched it, you need to! It is a "laugh out loud" show!! James Spader and William Shatner play the most amazing characters!!!

R.S. Broadcast, U of U game and Henry's baby blessing......(Excuse the big spaces inbetween, I've tried everything to get rid of them..AGH!)
We had quite an eventful weekend! Last night was the Relief Society General Broadcast. Every year, my 4 sisters and I go to my mom and dad's and watch the re-broadcast on KBYU. We always have yummy Rock Creek Pizza..(our family favorite!) and for dessert, See's Chocolates. What a great meeting. I absolutely love President Uchdorf. He is amazing. He spoke to all of the sisters about service and how important it is to serve others. I am going to do another post later, mostly for myself , about his talk last night. Anyway, we had a great time. Heather, we love you and we missed you! It's definitely not the same without you! Jill was just called as Choir director for her ward so she had us sing through all of the songs she is doing with her choir. That is something we LOVE to do. Just stand around the piano and sing. Once we get going, it's usually hard to get us to stop. We don't get to do it as often as we used to. Thanks Mom and Dad for making music such a big part of our lives!
So since I was with my family last night, Brady took the kids to the U of U game........GO UTES! He is quite the trooper to take all of them. He text me about 20 minutes into the game and said Brinley was done...she was ready to go home. She is just like her mom. Not much of an attention span at all! But they had a great time. Thanks Brady for taking them! I know they loved going with you!

This morning we had the opportunity of going to the baby blessing for Henry Hayden Felt...son of Taylor and Martha. :) Taylor is Brady's manager at the Bike shop. Brady calls him his "Wing Man". Taylor really is amazing. The happiest guy you've ever met. He helps Brady out so much and is also a good friend. His wife Martha is probably the most happy, adorable, witty person I have ever met. She is always so happy and has the most contagious smile ever! They also have an adorable little 2 year old, Jack. He is a spittin' image of his daddy! They live up in Bountiful in a beautiful home. It was fun to be there with them today! And sweet baby Henry looked so
darling in his little white outfit!

Making the most out of a situation......

Today on my way to my sister, Jills, I stopped at a traffic light where they were doing road work. There was a Construction worker probably in his 50's who was not only standing in his spot guiding traffic, but dancing and waving his little sign around. I had my window rolled down and he heard my music playing and he told me to turn it up. It was "My Sharona" and he was dancing around that intersection like he owned it!! When the light turned green and he waved us through, he yelled out, "Have a great day!" He absolutely made my day! I can't tell you how many times I have passed those construction workers and thought to myself, " I would hate that job." Well, this cute man today was making the most out of his job. And he truly looked like he loved what he did. Such a small thing to him, but it made my day! I went the exact same way on my way home in hopes that I would see him again, but he was gone. I was actually a little bummed! So Mr. Construction worker........Thanks so much for making my day a happier one!

Getting Reacquainted...........
Today Hank had some very special visitors. Chance and Shanna got Hank when he was a puppy and loved and cared for him the first 8 months of his life. They stopped by today just to see Hank! He absolutely remembered them right off! It was so cute to see how excited they also were to see him! When I finally talked Brady into getting a dog, once I found Hank, I knew he needed to be part of our family! Chance and Shanna were both going to school full-time and working and felt that Hank wasn't getting all of the attention he needed. I knew that Hank had to have been an amazing dog because of how much they loved him! So I know that giving Hank to another family was not easy at all! I can't even begin to imagine how they felt. But I do know that bringing Hank into our family was the best thing we have ever done. He is truly the greatest! Chance and Shanna, I can't even begin to thank you for making the sacrifice that you did by giving Hank to our family! We love him so much and are so grateful to have also made new friends.
Alex's first soccer game!!!

Today was Alex's first soccer game. He has been so excited the last few weeks to start and was thrilled that today was his first game! It is so fun to watch all of the little boy's go after the ball like crazy little mad men! SO CUTE! He absolutely loved it, but said he was so tired afterwards. Needless to say, he fell asleep awfully quick tonight!

First day of pre-school!

Today was Alex's first day of preschool. Wow! Time really flies! My baby is in preschool. I have been emotional since I woke up this morning! It helped that he was so excited and was not nervous to go AT ALL. In fact, when we got there, I got out to take pictures and also to reassure him if he got sad that everything would be fine. Well, we got out of the car, and I started walking up with him and he stopped and turned around and said, "What are you doing? You can't come in here! Only the kids." Funny. It actually made it easier on me. If he would of been sad, I don't think I would have handled it well. I still cried all the way to the car. I really don't get it. We moms are always looking forward to any time alone that we have, but when we finally get it, we hate it. At least I do. I have been sitting home playing with Hank watching the clock. Well, I guess our kids will grow up whether we want them to or not. We just need to make sure we enjoy every moment of every day that we have with them!

A long overdue weekend away.....minus kids! :)

Brady has been working so much lately so we decided we needed to get away for a few days! We went to St George and stayed in Brady's parents new condo. It was so great! It actually felt like home even though we had never been there.
We don't go ANYWHERE!!! It is hard when Brady works long hours and I also have my work to do. Luckily now, I am able to do it online, so it worked out perfectly. It was so relaxing and nice to just do nothing but veg!! I should've been better about taking pictures, but we really didn't do anything too amazing!
Thanks to my cute mom for a fun travel treat bag with lots of snacks for the ride down. And thank you KRISTIN and AMY and GUY for taking such great care of our little ones! We love you so much!
Bubba's first day of preschool is tomorrow and he was so excited tonight when he went to bed that he could hardly stand it!
He is the star student tomorrow and so this is the cute, cute poster that he did with his Aunt Kristin while we were away! Thanks so much Kristin!

Charly's in charge.......
This little niece of mine is so adorable. And anytime she is around, the spotlight is always on her! She has the funniest little faces and cutest little giggle! The other day, we went to lunch together..Kim and Heather, we missed you! Charly was being silly the whole time. I wish I could get a picture of her face when she scrunches her little nose. Every time I try to get a picture, I miss it by a half of a second! Still, she is so funny! We could just sit and watch her for hours!

And every time she sees me, she says.."Bubba!" She loves Bubba!! In this picture, she is getting some serious love from her older cousin!!

Saturday, we went to Lagoon for my summer work party! It was a blast! Brady was able to come too, and we also brought their cousin, Whitney along! Whitney you are the greatest! You are like the kids "other sister"!! Me and the girls went together on the bigger rides and Brady and Alex went on the smaller rides. And, Oh my..... My stomach and equalibrium are not what they used to be! After about 15 different roller coaster rides, I was done for. I'm still dizzy. I'm sure just a sign that I am getting old. Anyway, Brady and Alex left about 5:00 for the Utah game. GO UTES! Here are some pics from Lagoon!
